for every thing there is a NAP

What do you do when you can not sleep?
It does not happen often to me.  But every occasionally, I just can not go to sleep, and when I do, then I find it so much fun trying to get awake the next day.  It’s not like I must get up.  Retirement has its perks.  Last night was such a night.  And then to add to this quandary. I woke up early this morning … I think all in all I got maybe 4 hours sleep.  So today I think I will have a nap coming on.  Naps are good.  I enjoy them …. But then an amazing thing happens… my inner clock gets confused.  And first thing I know, I’m not sure if its night or day.
Confusion is not a good thing when your any age.   But in old age, confusion is not ever good.  One must stop what they are doing and get…unconfused.   You might ask how one does that?
I have found it is not as hard as one might think.
You simply look at the clock on the wall and see the time.  Then act appropriately.
Shift gears……and when its time to go to bed … you go… and you stay there until its time to get up.
Clocks have a purpose.  Time was given to us for a reason.  We need to manage it better, me thinks.  Even in our old age.
So who am I speaking to today…??
Hummm   yes I am hearing me….
Now when will I take that nap?

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time of peace, I swear it's not too late!
